The "Class of 2014" is off to a great start and no doubt they will add many more stars as today's prospects develop into legit world-class fighters. 2016 and 2017 promise to be good classes too as more Olympians from the Rio Games turn pro and mature in the paid ranks.

If the Olympics are every four years, and your saying they go pro on an Olympic year or the year after, my simple farmers brain tells me that's 2 out of 4 years :maybe:
So if the 2014 Olympics has people turning pro in 2014, and 2015, then again in 2018 (next Olympics) and 2019, then it's something?

Although most Olympians who are going to turn pro do it later that year or the next year, SOME Olympians wait 2-3 years before they turn pro. So even though most 2016 Olympians turned pro in late 2016 or sometime in 2017, there are some who dont do it until 2018 or even later. This thread shows about nine or ten 2016 Olympians who turned pro in 2018 and the year isnt quite over yet.
