one for me, from a poster whose usually very solid on another forum, was a totally serious suggestion that wilder vs aj would be one of the most meaningful, black vs white racial tension fights in decades...the holmes vs cooney of its generation

Yup one of the worst cuts I've ever seen, you could park a bike in it, Stuarty would have smashed the granny out of it!

He was ahead on the cards though so it was very unfair of the referee to stop the fight and potentially saving Vitali's career and sight

It always shocks me how little respect Floyd's resume gets. I understand he's a jerk but he has one hell of a resume

One of the worst cuts I've seen in modern boxing. The referee was 100% correct in stopping the fight.
Vitali should of thanked him

i agree

i got a real appreciation for it when i looked it over and then compared to to what the top p4p guys today have done. a guy like crawford, hey, hes an exacellent fighter with a lot of solid wins, but guys like postel and indongo wouldnt even make a mark on floyds resume. maybe theyd fit in around jesus chavez level

manny pac as well just has a loaded resume, not as sparkling as floyd, but those 2 i feel are really in a class of there own over the last 2 decades i feel when it comes to what theyve fit into there careers.

About 10 years ago, one of the most legendary threads in BoxRec history. A poster called Damien. Not a deliberate troll, the guy was just thick.

Apparently Jeff Lacy struggled against Calzaghe because of the altitude.

The names on his resume are fantastic. Didn’t exactly fight them all at their peeks when there were options. But his name is money and guys like Mosley were big names to generate lots of money, hence his name being ‘money’..

The next generation of fans in 20 years time will look at FMJ’s resume and think WOW! No research, they’ll appreciate more than we do now.
