Here are a selection of quotes from yesterday’s press conference.

FRANK W.

"This is part of Anthony’s education moving forward. I am told by his management that Walter fancies the job.

Regarding Frank Buglioni, we offered over £100,000 and he did not want to know. This is about Anthony moving up the rankings.

Johnny Garton and Gary Corcoran are two tremendous competitors and it will be something special. What you see is what you get and it will be a good fight.

Zak and Umar is a pick ‘em and both called for it. Whoever wins will go on quickly and it will not be the end for the loser.

It is tough matching Nathan up. He is one of the most underestimated boxers in Britain and one of the most improved.

The job Ricky Hatton has done is amazing.
If he keeps moving forward, we will see some fight between him and Daniel Dubois next year.”

Tunde / FW / Yarde talking about fighting Burton a year ago - "We do not want to fight the guy who lost the British title, we want the British title. We have nothing to gain fighting Burton who lost to Buglioni. We want momentum and to fight the guy who won and holds the title."

Buglioni gets starched in one round

"We want to fight Buglioni and offered him the fight."

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Just be honest and say you know you can beat Buglioni and so will fight him. You do not know if you would beat the others so won't.

So Buglioni doesn’t want it, fair jars. Make another fight for the lad.

You can fault Buguloni's bottle, proper fighter, while it seems a lot of money to turn down, I imagine it meant leaving Fast Eddie and being tied down to a contract.
These things are never one off deals

Na. They wouldn’t want to keep him. They only need him for Yarde.

Be real, there would have been options, esp if Frank won. The fight isn't worth that sort of money in isolation, even if the WBO European was at stake.

This. Why aren't they offering Callum Johnson money for a fight with Yarde. FW is a complete Bernard..
