Well Oscar does own The Ring.

I first bought this magazine in 1985 and used to walk from Mortlake to Richmond at age 11 to buy it with my pocket money. Rich history and legacy tarnished for me. And jesus, I thought Dougie was ok but he stood there like a shill.

Not only did they make him p4p number 1, they decided to bring the belt back specially having not awarded it in over a decade. Arseholes.

Nobody reads the Ring anymore do they? Even if it wasn’t a month behind previewing fights that have already happened it’s a shill rag for Goldenboy and isn’t even well written. I can’t think of anything good about it to be honest.

I just pulled up the ring ratings. Canelo is listed as pound for pound #3
So how is he the ring pound for pound champion??????????

But he's not now

He lost to Canelo, but Canelo still isn't ranked #1, so don't see why he was awarded the belt.

He lost both his last two fights to GGG and the majority of people know it.

The second fight was a lot closer than the first though, but he still lost by a good 3-4 rounds.

So seeing this guy with another belt he doesn't deserve leaves a nasty taste in people's mouths.

Ring is nowhere near what it was, plus Oscar owns it now
