thought of this while looking at donaires record for saturday. theres obviously undisputed champs like usyk, but also guys like don who managed to win them separately at different times through his career

for sake of discussion the wba regular title can count

Crawford, Hopkins, Usyk and Jermain Taylor all held them simultaneously. Calzaghe held them all but not at the same time.

Roy Jones Jr has won all 4 of those as well as loads of smaller world titles, De La Hoya too.

Riddick Bowe won all 4

De La Hoya had the lot, as did Floyd.

Naseem should have and was only denied when Vazquez was stripped for fighting him

Manny also has the lot, just. His only WBA was the one he picked up in his last fight

Joe Calzaghe won all 4. Unified vs Jeff Lacy then grabbed the other 2 vs Kessler.

I think Prince Nasseem would have been one of the first to hold all 4 had a guy not vacated the WBA just before fighting him.

Also Terence Crawford more recently.

Quite right, I had in my mind that the Badi Ajumu fight was for the WBO but it was for their NABO title.

Mayweather and Pacquiao?? I think Mayweather just finally won a WBO against Pacquiao, I'm not sure if Manny has ever held a WBA mind

Edit- just noticed both guys been mentioned

for later when i search through records.....i think often times the guys in the lowest divisions tend to fight for titles more, or at least get shots earlier, i wonder if there might be some there

I thought Carbajal had picked up some sort of WBA trinket on his travels but seems not.

Arce didn't hold an IBF title, I thought he did at some point.

Medina was five time champ at 126 but never held the WBA title but did fight for a couple of minor WBA belts.

JM Marquez definitely held all four at varying weights, he was also Ring and Lineal champ.

Only 2 were up for grabs against pavlik but dont know if he was stripped or he vacated

Donaire has had one of each, spans a few weight classes mind

Donaire is a very accomplished fighter

I was curious about it because I really couldn't remember other than all four were not on offer for the Hopkins rematch.

IBF mandated Soliman but he vacated to make way for the rematch, I assume for monetary reasons.

Wright then beat Soliman in an IBF elminator (as well as already beating Tito in a WBC elim).

The WBA did some weird stuff with their rankings with Taylor so he was in dispute and basically they ended up stripping him after the Ouma fight. He didn't defend it against either Ouma or Wright and Wright only paid sanctioning fees for the WBC title.

For all he achieved, having never won the WBO belt, in his own mind his career must feel unfulfilled, i bet he still looses sleep at night thinking about it.
