The winner of Fury vs Wilder does not need to fight anyone else besides Joshua.
The winner deserves the unification.
It's bullcrap to expect either to clear out the division to face AJ

The way it's going the earliest we are likely to see Joshua v Wilder or Fury will be the summer of 2019.
That said of the 2 I do think whoever fights Joshua it will take place next year.

Joshua have beaten Zhilei in the quarterfinal, not in a final, in the final fight he beaten Cammarelle

The most probable candidate for Joshua among Fury, Wilder and Usyk is the Ukrainian. He and AJ are with Eddie, it'll be an easy match-making. If Wilder wins Fury, he'll demand even more for the Joshua bout, if Wilder loses to Fury, he'll be not that wanted, cause he'll have no belts, but still will have his punch. Fury also seems to be pretentious in terms of what he'll achieve for Joshua bout, and, of course, he'll become more of it in a case of the win over Wilder.

I imagine in an ideal world Hearn would like Zhang to be the next next WBO mandatory for AJ which won't be for another year as Joshua won't be picking voluntaries very often, if at all, anymore. He's brought Zhang onto his Monaco show and has also spoke about breaking into the Chinese market. I think he might put him up against a couple more Ustinov-type opponents, relatively well-known but not amazingly skilled. Perhaps a regional matchup in Asia with Fujimoto who is also ranked by the WBO. Maybe against Junlong Zhang in China if that's possible before facing him off against AJ.

There's also a 99% chance that Joshua's April date will be against Wilder/Whyte/Chisora.

In terms of pro-heavyweight ranks, Zhilei and Usyk are completely irrelevant to Joshua. Winner of Wilder and Fury should fight for the unified title.

Whyte will put away chisora, then he will knock out or get knocked out by joshua in april.

Fury will end wilder's sad unbeaten streak, maybe a rematch an/or 1st defense (pulev) in spring/summer.

Then come fall fury/whyte or joshua unification. Fury undisputed champion.
Immediate rematch if it's close & exciting or
Whyte/joshua III in 2020 for another shot at fury while fury defends against miller.

Or everything will turn out completely different except fury beats wilder, that's for sure.

I think Fury will beat Wilder- so expect them to be tied up on a rematch clause for the first half of 2019. Squabbling over who comes out first, who gets the red corner etc etc. Oh and the money

Audley Harrison is proof enough that amateur achievements don't guarantee pro success. Zhang is totally unproven. Hrgovic and Joyce have done more so far, and looked better in the process.

Also, however many people are watching in China, they aren't paying PPV prices. Zhang isn't earning big money. Nobody in China is. If the Chinese aren't paying to watch their hero, what makes you think they'll pay to watch the Brit who already beat him once?

When looking at markets, it's not just the number of people you need to look at. Those people ideally need to have deep pockets, and be willing to dip into them. That's not the case with China, at least not from current evidence.
