Tony Bomber Bellew - 14 stone 3 stone..........really?

Michael and Bruce are shrewd cookies, probably in contract and will cost more to get shut of him than the mistakes are worth.

There is one thing about hearing ‘let’s ft ready to rumble’ or ‘it’s showtime.’
From Buffer or Lennon Jr before a fight.
If I was a promoter I’m not sure I’d be willing to do the money on it that he’s rumoured to earn tho.

He past it ages ago. He literally only makes appearances for main events. Been making mistakes for ages.
Why dya think Hearn has already got Diamante locked in? Loooong term replacement set.
Bruce makes just as much mistakes.

I used to love - let’s get ready to rumble - but that was back in the early 90s. That boat‘s long gone now

He’s about 20 years past his sell by date.

What a fantastic job, being a boxing MC must be.
Travelling the world, staying in great hotels and watching boxing from ringside
It's money for old rope too - all you gotta do to be 'good' is speak clearly. Best of all, after a few years, you become "part of the big-fight atmosphere" and can charge enormous fees.
Quite how Mark Burdiss got a gig, I'll never know

I always thought the same. Is it as easy as it looks though it do the top guys just make it look easy.

Apart from a number of mistakes, today he also seemed really disinterested and like he couldn’t be bothered to be there.

It's looking like Eddie is phasing in dread head. He's OK. I don't like announcers who repeat the last name though. Gets on my tits.
Buffy is past it. He must still like doing it because he doesn't need the money. He copyrighted "Let's get ready to rumble" and according to wiki, it's made him many millions alone.
One thing you have to give Buffy, he does pronounce the fighters names well. And he learned Spanish.

David Diamante (I always forget his name, but he’s easily identifiable with a quick google search of ‘boxing MC with dreadlocks’) is my new favourite. His repeating of surname used to annoy me, but now I really like it for some reason.

Ah I think he's great. Brings an element of class. Not a fan of his brother. The saying the second nane twice yoke is horseshit. Jimmy lennon is also a class act

A friend of mine does it. He’s just quit a very good job to go full time. He’s doing the snooker on ITV 4 all week.

I love it when Lennon goes;
"IT'S SHOWTIME!!!"
And the crowd goes; yeah, whatever
Nothing like being contractually obliged into a non responsive catchphrase

It annoys me all the build up talk before he does. Only a matter of a few years before Diamante takes over.
