No he won't fight again, nothing to prove anymore, made his money and 36 in a couple of weeks. He's done.

Unless he does his money or that nasty whiplash off the bottom rope KO has altered his personality then I'd doubt it. He seems too sensible.

He was saying he was looking forward to retirement.
He's won the lot and will never win another thing - why bother ?

He said he wants to fade in to obscurity but I wouldn't be surprised to see him back tbh. Dillian Whyte or Cleverly once he makes his inevitable comeback!

Tony Bellew made his money and keeps his health intact. That KO on Saturday should remind him that boxing is a dangerous game and this is what happens when you fight the best in the world.

I found Tony a gobby bugger but he was ok, all this gobshite stuff just sells the fights so im guessing hes proberly a decent fella outside the ring. Tony wasnt really a world class fighter but got the few fights that made him some money. The 2 Haye fights were good paydays for him and really Haye was just a blown up cruiser at heavyweight anyway and the time was right for Bellew.

He's done well enough and knew the score at campaigning at heavyweight, if he fought a full blown heavy he would have been knocked out too.

I think hes one of those blokes like Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis, knew when the time was right and walked with his head held high.

Hes also done a bit of acting so theres possiblitiy the could land something else in that field too. He wil certainly still make money being a pundit so life is good for Bellew.

Can't see him coming back, earned a lot in his last 3 fights, says he's feeling his age and he seems to have his head screwed on, think he invests in property. Could see him doing commentary etc but not fighting again.

In fairness to her, we have no way of knowing what the guy said. It is reported that he enquired whether the fight was over, a question he asked as he wanted to finish work. It is also reported that he said he was glad Bellew was knocked out.

We will never know as that was not recorded.
