I can't imagine this doing well. Much more expensive than getting it at home if you like food or drinks, much less alcohol. It's a nice offer for huge fights. Nobody knows who these two are.

Anyone know how much to watch at home in the US?
I have heard it will be $35 in my country which is about $30 USD.
For that money I would rather watch it at home and shout at the telly, vacuume down some beersies and pause rewind any highlights.

I'm fixin' to go to the fight with some rum to sneak in my coke and few special gummy bears.
I don't think me and my friends will get shushed at this flick. LOL

It should be about $85 here

$75 for HD PPV in USA.

I'd go with a few mates if I lived in the states, but I would be bringing my own cans.

Don’t knock it til you try it. I watched ggg Canelo 2 in an Australia gold class cinema. To be able to get the ppv fight in aus you would have needed a Foxtel subscription with a
Minimum of 3 months at 30 a month then the actual PPv fight which was around 50. We bought tickets for 40 each. Massive screen great quality and the whole card plus comfy seats (goldclass), a person waiter button. Was a great experience.

The movie seats where the fight is playing in Colorado are heated recliners. Way cush.

Oh yeah, the UFC is much more popular than boxing here and they run one a month . Boxing ppv is pretty rare these days.

The $25 is a great deal. That $25 is the exact same amount they charged in movie theaters 38 years ago for Leonard-Duran I and II in 1980.

Considering the cost increases of everything in life, how many things can you buy something today for the same price you paid in 1980?!?

I bet American fans were a hell of a lot more excited to see Leonard-Duran than they are Wilder-Fury. Even at $25.

Reports have it that Staples has only sold about half the available seats at the arena. A portion of Staples will be closed off.

PPV sales figure to struggle to exceed 300,000.

I can't imagine that many fans will bother trekking to a theater to watch this.

Very few fights in the last 38 years have had the impact or significance of either Leonard-Duran I or II.

PPV sales usually do not include the closed-circuit admissions at movie theaters, so even 300,000 might be a surprise. That's no skin off my back since I dont get a penny of it anyway.

I am used to going to PPVs where a bunch of folks chip in $5-10 each toward the cost and everyone there is generally pulling for the same fighter. I will have no problem paying the bargain price of $25 to watch Wilder-Fury in a different environment just for a change of pace.

If I had the option to see interesting fight for 25 in theater near me I would definitely go for it.

I am not too interested in Fury vs Wilder.

If Fury was at hes prime I would be. I think hes no where near prime currently.

In the same way I don't care about Pac vs Broner match. I know how it would go prime vs prime. Now the question is just how far has Pac slipped.

If GGG vs Canelo 1 or Usyk vs Gassiev was on that kind of offer I would definitely have gone for it

I hope anyone calling $25 a bargain isn't planning on eating or drinking. Very well calculated, I'd spend more in the theater than I would at home.

I'm unsure of the cost but it was undoubtedly cheaper than any single $25 theater ticket.

The next year I purchased Leonard-Hearns and recall that it was only $15--although that seemed extravagant to me at the time.

Once PPV hit the Los Angeles market around 1980, fight telecasts at arenas and theaters quickly faded away.

I lived in Michigan in 1980 and there was no PPV there. Back then it was $25 at a movie house/arena or nothing. Not having a job that year, I watched Leonard-Duran II outside a large arena, peering through a window with a good view of the video screen. Watched the whole fight for free (minus the sound) with some other freeloaders.

Although the closed-circuit telecasts faded after 1980 they havent disappeared altogether. After moving out west in 1981 I started watching PPVs. I actually watched DeLaHoya-Chavez I on closed-circuit in 1996 at a California arena for about $15. The most common use of closed-circuit telecasts of fights NOW is when a Vegas fight sells out its live tickets, other Vegas arenas will televise the match on the big screen for a price so they can milk the overflow crowd (not sure how much $$$ since I never went to one).
