who else is thinking the same as me?

Wilder would stop AJ

Fury would 'school' AJ

I think AJ would come out fast to ko Wilder early and not let Wilder get into the fight a risky tactic but I don't think AJ would want to be in with Wilder in the championship rounds

Fury will get robbed. AJ is the golden goose.

Fury will have the three judges and ref against him too

I actually think Joshua comes out looking like the clear number 1 guy after yesterday, he’d stop them both.

I'll say the same thing I've said for the last year.

AJ knocks Wilder out early doors.

Fury beats Joshua on points in a close fight.

Before last night Fury was number 1. After last night Fury is still no1

The judges beat fury (or anyone else) vs AJ.

It's who lands first vs wilder

Wilder was able to catch elusive Fury, no doubt he'll reach AJ's chin. AJ just has to get to him earlier, otherwise Wilder will stop him.

And Tyson outboxes AJ. Too creative, too slick for Joshua.

What was your prediction for the fight last night? Because I agree with your two predictions above, but I also thought that Wilder would knock Fury out, so I'm not too certain anymore...

:TU:

I thought that too. For all Joshua's limitations I bet he'll work more consistently than Wilder did, & I've got a feeling that Fury's low workrate versus big guys might cost him.

I also think that whilst Fury has brilliant recuperative powers, Joshua won't let him off the hook like that if he gets him hurt. Wilder's flailed & flailed & let guys get away before after decking them (Molina, Ortiz, to name two off the top of my head). I can only think of the Wlad fight where Joshua didn't get the KO after having a bloke going, & Klitschko stopped Joshua from coming in by blatting him really fuckin' hard in the face.

Remains to be seen if Fury can do that.

I thought Fury would win most of the early rounds and lose on points or late stoppage.

Heayweight division no matter what you think of the result last night is looking very healthy.

Wilder aint a great boxer but those bombs got him out of jail.

Fury goes up in my estimation massively for taking those bombs and somehow bordering on a miracle gets up.

So refreshing

Joshua's artillery is just better than Wilder's. He has more layers to his game, would put punches together and eventually stop a game Fury. Wilder just threw single shots last night, loading up from the third row and still almost stopped Fury.

I've changed my mind in that I think Fury would last longer vs AJ than I thought he would before last night, He would win a few rounds before being stopped.

Did Fury beat the count? In England the ref would have waived the fight off and Wilder would have won. Fair play to Fury he did engage with Wilder whereas he didn't with Vlad. I think they both won but in different ways so a draw was a fair result. Pretty sure in the rematch, if it happens, Wilder will prevail with a KO.

I think Fury would beat AJ on points, and Wilder would KO AJ early.

It was more like 9 3/4 than 9. I've seen plenty "counted out in rising" in just that scenario.

Impossible to say if it would've been waved off in England, depends if it was the home fighter having to get up like that!

Also I think the extra ten seconds of fvcking about the ref did was 'cos he was still in shock that Fury managed to get up after getting levelled like that!

Good point, and not many have made it. I watched the 12th round KD again and it should have been waved off. Fury didn't beat the count at all for me. Reiss was very generous there.

What i'm trying to say is that I thought it was a long count

It was toght tbf, he hits the canvas at 2.21 & gets up right on 2.11, i would've won a few hundred with the KO but i have to say, allowing fury to continue was a fair decision - remarkably, his legs seemed steady.

Fury is the better boxer out of the three of them.

AJ and Wilder always have a punchers chance in any fight.

Fury beats both if it goes the distance.

I think AJ might counter Wilder better than Fury did and with more power. It's whoever lands first with those two.

I see it another way round Joshua is head and shoulders above them both and woukd ko them both. Would like to see Whyte against wilder and Fury v AJ

Nah. Joshua's not head and shoulders above them. He's got far too many weaknesses to say that.

There's not a lot between the three of them at the moment. Any of them can beat each other in current form.
