Damn. I knew it was a brutal looking knockout, but that's concerning to hear. I've never been a fan of Stevenson, but I don't wish that on him certainly. I hope he recovers quickly.

Same here, given his past but I do hope he recovers.

Praying is stupid, but I do hope he makes a full recovery.

Guys shouldn't fight in their 40s.
I hope Adonis recovers and has long retirement.
I'm an agnostic but if there's somebody out there that can help, I hope they do it.

As for the ref, if he was more concerned about doing his job instead of concentrating on delivering a necessary result, Adonis would have been in better shape now.

Stevenson went years without challenging himself. Now that he had his best year since winning the title, this happens, like one of those shitty biblical tales that preach nothing but suffering. Maybe the only thing to take away is it's not an old man's game. Challenge yourself early, then get out. Hopefully he won't come out damaged from this though the career is likely, and should be, over.

Thanks for posting this. This is the first that I found out he was badly injured. I've already started praying for Adonis. Hopefully he will make a full recovery.

I agree that it could have been stopped a bit earlier, but I am not the one who had to make the decision. It is not easy in realtime.
