This weekend on allegedly WBA/WBO Lightweight unification fight between 3 weight champ Lomachenko and 2 weight titlist Pedraza, good to see Loma get his first unification fight under his belt, I could see that being one of the criticisms in years to come from certain people saying he never unified, I thought Lomachenko had his toughest fight against Linares since the Salido fight, he had to get up off the canvas, Linares was highly skilled and made Lomachenko work for his openings, Loma was pure class in the end though, pulled off a worldy of a bodyshot to finish Linares off
Pedraza for his part gave Beltran a boxing lesson IMO, I didn't think it was close, had Beltran down late and nearly stopped him if not for the bell, ive gotta say though I don't give him much hope, cant see his southpaw style giving Lomachenko much to think about, Pedraza's a slickster but he's coming in against the most skilful boxer ever IMO, I can see Lomachenko dominating him, making him miss and making him pay then at some point around the midway stage go to work properly and stop Pedraza around the 8/9 mark

Gonna be good this.. Loma should stop Prdraza an finally become a unified champion.
Shame he couldn't unify in his lower 2 weights.

Can't wait for this. Might try and stay up. Loma and Dogboe on the same card is hard on material

How was the gear last Saturday? Bit rough the next day?
I agree with you mate he looks in good shape. Pedraza is up against it tomorrow and I think will do well to Hear the final bell.
They’re both come up from super Feather so likely same size. Loma can stop him but it’s a unification, so Pedraza will give it all he’s got.

I noticed some excellent physiques, but they weren’t boxers.

That's how I see it too. Only something extraordinary can prevent this happening.

The only way Pedraza will have the potential to win is if he hurts Loma very early. Nothing in the Puerto Ricans pro record suggests that he has the power to do so.
Loma is coming to demonstrate his superiority to the rest of the class. This will not likely last into the second half.
