Fury and Wilder rematch. What's the result this time?

Can Wilder keep up his record of knocking every opponent out? Does Fury put an even better display on a beat Wilder convincingly? How do you see it going?

Comfortable UD for Fury IMO. Think he would be more elusive.

Wilder KO

Comes in at a better weight and if he has sense he will target the body with hose wide swings of his. Fury wouldn't be able to get his body at the way and the one shot i remember wilder landed downstairs looked to hurt him

It's still the same.. 50/50..

Fury can win on points and Wilder can knock Fury down and we've seen that Wilder can catch Fury.. Anything goes.

Wilder ko. He boxed poorly, started way too slowly and still knocked Fury down twice and very nearly won. Tyson went into the fight not knowing if he still had it. I fear knowing that he does would see him less focussed and prepared for a rematch thinking it's a formality.

I'd very much hope to be wrong.

From all I read, Wilder is appalling in the gym and observers say it is like watching a granny's exercise class. Breland said it reminded me of his own skill level..........when he was 11. Wilder just does not have it technically. End of.

Ok, so before the fight it was pretty much felt across the board that Fury needed another couple fights before fighting Wilder. Well he has now boxed himself into shape and is ready to be better next time.

Every fight will of course always be a lottery with wilder, however I can't see him landing like he did so cleanly in this fight. Basically similar to the first grove/Froch fight, in that if he didn't knock him out then, he may have missed the boat.

I think fury had another gear to go in that fight. When he traded or pushed to action he had a lot of success.

But wilder telegraphed the right and made a lot if mistakes and as another poster said, still nearly won.

Also, I thought Wilder appeared to be stunned a few times and think there is a chance Fury may look to push a few of those chances more and look for a dramatic, headline grabbing KO

Fury has more scope to improve, but with Wilder it could take one punch.
I predicted at 60% Fury would have enough to win a decision. In one sense I was proved right.
However this would have only been if Fury would have been able to avoid the big shots.
If I had of known that Wilder would have been able to connect like that I would have definitely gone for Wilder.
I think it will be another great fight.
You can never rule Wilder out but if Fury is more ring ready he should get a decision.
Hearn will be hoping that Fury loses as nobody would fancy taking on the gypsy King

Wilder KO imo. Having been in with Fury i think it gives him a big advantage to work on his repertoire of punches. Fury constantly dipped low or off to his right, yet Wilder tried little in the way of uppercuts or left hooks i felt were there to land. In fairness to Wilder he did eventually land a huge right, but by r12 there wasn't as much power in his shots, he was pretty gassed.

It'll not happen. WILDER'S already talking to Hearn about Joshua. He knows the truth. Fury will only come in better shape and know what to avoid, etc. Every rematch Fury's had he's won comfortably. Wilder is a C level fighter with tremendous hitting power and nothing more.

Fury beats him even easier the next time they meet. That was his first meaningful fight in 3 years. Next time he will be a all round better fighter and Wilder will be like a rabbit in the headlights. Don't think the rematch will happen though

I would say 65% Fury, 35% Wilder, Fury likely to be better and sharper now he has a tough fight under his belt however Wilder has dynamite in his fists and he normally connects at some point. I'd expect Fury to win on points but probably getting up of the canvass again.

Considering that Wilder had always been able to get the job done before in spite of his flaws he might've never been confronted so harshly by what he lacked in Boxing Prowess before this fight. For his sake maybe this means he'll start putting more effort into the finer points of the Boxing game, and not just focus solely on power as he always has.

I feel like both can improve on their effort. Fury having more time to shake off the ring rust of years of inactivity, and Wilder with more of a chance to take a long, hard look at his weaknesses, and what he can do to fix them.

I think WHEN the rematch happens will play a big part in what the result will be. So I'll save my speculation until it actually appears to be in the works again.

This fight may have been the best thing to happen to Wilder. He learned more in this fight than his entire career perhaps. I remember a KO'd Joe Louis becoming a better fighter after the first Schmeling fight. Hmmm...wasn't he an ATG?

Yeah. Sometimes guys have to be fully exposed to, and pay the price for what they do wrong in the ring to fully grasp the improvements they need to be focusing on in the gym.

As always it depends very much on Fury’s condition, both physically and mentally.

If he stays motivated and in the gym then I think he wins easily. Still the chance of getting caught with a big punch though, that will always be there for Wilder.

If he can't get motivated then there's every chance Wilder gets the stoppage. I think it takes a huge effort for him to find the motivation. Last time it seemed more about proving a point to himself than winning the titles

Fury will win this again, now in a more convincing fashion. The Gypsy King is a type of a fighter to improve. And what one-dimensional Wilder can suggest?

Fury by points (unless its in America) or Wilder KO. Of course Fury is much the better boxer of the two and will rack rounds up but for all the talk of his amazing recovery in the 12th round he just doesn't hold Wilders right hander well at all. Don't think he can keep away from it all night and will go down and maybe out the next time

Brin-jonathan Butler said he's seen 60yr old women's boxercise classes with more focus than Wilders camp for this fight.

Wilder has always been a total sh!t boxer so I don’t think there’s much chance of him improving his technique at 33. He has huge power, but nothing else. Most people thought the first fight was too early for Fury, but you’d surely have to favour him in a rematch (assuming fair judging, which of course we probably won’t get).
