Absolutely.deadpan wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 18:47 AJ v Fury feels bigger AJ v Wilder. Deontay saw his stock fall and Furys rise in abundance when Tyson got up in the 12th. He is now the man who cant be stopped (though he probably can be). Plus Fury's recent story and conduct after the final bell makes him a lot more marketable. And his inevitable drubbing of Joshua in the pressers would generate massive publicity.

(almost all) the belts - check.
Lineal "people's champ" vs Unified Champ and No1 - check.
At heavyweight !!
Of course it is - It's the biggest fight since Ali vs Frazier 1.
It's one of the biggest HW fights in history - easily the biggest in the UK.![]()
One punch power it’s probably Wilder. Joshua hits you more often though and has more variation. Wilder put Fury down with a brace of shots. Joshua will be unloading everything if he tags Fury at any point. He also has the advantage of strength and physicality over Fury so no walking him back etcsparrow_1 wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 20:08deadpan wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 18:47 AJ v Fury feels bigger AJ v Wilder. Not that it matters much if you got clobbered off either, but.......who is considered to hit harder, Wilder or AJ?
I thought Wilder was considered as the hardest one-puncher out there (notwithstanding the many, many contenders on his record for whom the word 'tomato can' might be considered a promotion)...but as you say, the Bronze Bomber's stock fell slightly when the Morcambe man pulled off his Lazarus impression.....
So who hits harder, Wilder or AJ?![]()
I don’t think it’ll be all that bad to be honest. It won’t need selling so the chat won’t be needed. I could see Fury attempting to bait him, Joshua laughing and refusing to bite then Fury going respectful, ‘two great champions’ route etc
He's got plenty of ammo. AJ swerving the Wilder fight which Fury then subsequently took instead. AJ pretending to live at his mums when really he lives in Dubai. The superior black race stuff. AJ going life and death with a much older already beaten Wladimir. I'm sure there's plenty more. I've always been a big AJ supporter and have been harshly critical of Fury and his family in the past but he really has the upper hand here psychologically. Joshua can't and shouldn't be happy that Fury essentially got to Wilder first. The casual fans who make up the bulk of the PPV market may not be so forgiving of these things.
I’ve always thought it would be easy to get under Fury’s skin. I’m not suggesting it should happen by any means of course because it’s out of order but if you slag off travellers, his family and their lifestyle etc, he’d lose his head completely.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 06:15He's got plenty of ammo. Maybe. That would be an absolute PR disaster for Anthony though wouldn't it? I think only the most foolish of boxers would go down that road.lillywhite14 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 06:38I’ve always thought it would be easy to get under Fury’s skin. Personally I’d spit on anyone who chatted such bollocks, but travellers and gypsies are the last ethnic minority in this country that are seen as something of as an open target and fair game. I don’t think the backlash would be that big unfortunately.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 07:05Maybe. That would be an absolute PR disaster for Anthony though wouldn't it? I get the feeling Joshua fights Wilder first anyway. If he destroys him then the Fury fight isn’t as big though.Spiker wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 07:11 Well it should happen because if and when AJ does a job on Fury it will expose wilders shortcomings. I don’t think wilder punches much harder than aj he certainly isn’t as accurate. I’m betting Joshua could put Fury down and nail him as soon as he gets back up he’s far to accurate. Wilder fights like a caveman in comparison. So In answer yes biggest fight bigger than true Brit Lewis v Bruno
Does he live in Dubai?clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 06:15He's got plenty of ammo. AJ swerving the Wilder fight which Fury then subsequently took instead. Bear in mind that every man and his dog, young and old all knew about the Bruno/Lewis fight, would it be the same for Fury/Joshua ?Spiker wrote: ↑05 Dec 2018, 07:11 Well it should happen because if and when AJ does a job on Fury it will expose wilders shortcomings.
