You'd have to ask his doctor.

If he was well enough to climb into the ring and deliver those kind of punches that dropped fury, I just don't want to hear it. It sounds like damage limitation to me

Boxing is as much mental as it is physical. it's clear to see that it didn't affect his performance but for his own self he needs to believe that it did so he still holds his confidence high if they do rematch

Doesn't sound like his arm was snapped in two. His trainer said no cast was needed and they didn't even need to have surgery if they didn't want it. The docs said he could do pushups 2-3 days later. Then Wilder said it didn't bother him once camp had started. Minor fracture by the sounds of it.

I don't believe him, and even if it is true there was no need for him to have mentioned it. If you were ok enough to step into the ring, you were ok enough to fight.
Fighters making excuses always lose credibility. There's no such thing as a good excuse unless maybe it comes back as irrefutable proof that your Trainer or something was in on a fix, and slipped you a Mickey in the locker room or some sh*t

Meh. Mike Tyson fought with a broken back. His back was broken, basically.

I remember that was a running joke for me and a friend of mine for a long time. "My back is broken" he says after knocking out a guy in 40 seconds...yeah sure it is guy

Makes zero sense to lie about it. Maybe early hype for the rematch?

Of course it makes sense "People think I lost because my arm was broken". It's an excuse. It's an "I can do better next time because I'll be less injured coming in" excuse.
It's lame, but it's easy to understand the motivation behind it. Whether true or not though, it's the kinda thing that makes me roll my eyes. There's no such thing as a good excuse.

Youve got to be some sort of mongoo to say Tyson had a long count

I assume by a long count Wilder meant that the ref took a long time to restart the fight? If not then there was nothing long about that count.

I think that's what he meant also. But it was the referees discretion. The ref did a fine job all night
Probably the best job I've seen a ref do in a big fight in a long time.

Plus Wilder wasn't in a neutral corner. The ref also had to make sure Fury was in the neutral corner for the round to restart. Pesky rules, ruining the tinfoil hat brigades theories. The irony is that the Americans often deride the 9 and counted out in the act of rising rule we have in the UK yet if the fight had taken place here, and with a competent ref, Fury may have been counted out. It is brilliant on evey level.
