Who would win this match up in the same era between former world heavyweight champion Jersey Joe Walcott and Bob Baker? Baker could punch earlier in his career, but his hands were fragile that he relied on his left jabs to mostly out-box his opponents for his rest of his career. Walcott could feint, jab and counter, while he moved around the ring on his feet very well. Walcott would get the better of Baker with an exchange of jabs and hitting him with good counters to take a decision in a 15 round bout. What do you guys think?

I would agree. Jersey Joe on a 15 round decision. Baker could throw fast combos but one would notice that it was his natural heft behind the punches, not really punching power. I didn't know that about brittle hands. I did see a piece on him early in his career where they were comparing his punching power to that of a young Joe Louis. This was obviously before the issue with his hands cropped up. Regardless, good matchup.
