Tunney clearly edged this now. Should have been a UD. By the way, Tunney must fight vs Johnson now. They had a draw before and now they can fight again for the undisputed championship!

Thank you Mr Marciano for granting us the long awaited rematch, and now we are 2x Heavyweight Champion of the World. We overtrained the first time. This time we played it cool.

Mr Tunney was a draw the last time out. We'd certainly love to unify. That all depends on Mr Tunney and his management though.

I checked, neither is close. If unifying was that easy, it would have been done a while ago!

Considering the season is nearly over, surely an acception can be made?

If not, Johnson will do the "draw the name out of the hat" for the first title defense. I'm thinking Dempsey, Jeffries, Bowe, Vitali Klitschko, and maybe Larry Holmes. Have to wait for the updated rankings.

It is my birthday tomorrow (12th) so maybe the commission can wave the rules just this once either way Johnson regaining the title was a helluva early birthday present.
