Tevin Farmer vs Francisco Fonseca

Farmer defends his IBF Super Featherweight title against former world title challenger Fonseca on the Canelo/Fielding card this weekend, Farmer coming off the stoppage over Tennyson, as good as he was that night the ref was a disgrace in stopping that fight when he did, Tennyson hadn't took much punishment and it was only the 2nd time he was down in the fight, both via bodyshot, still Farmer looked good so cant criticise him
Ive only seen Fonseca once when he challenged Gervonta Davis for the same title not too long ago, he was stopped in 8 that night but I remember him giving Davis some problems, Tank failed to make weight for that fight and was stripped of the belt so could be more to do with him taking his eye off the ball?
I think this could be a close one, Farmer should win on points, Fonseca should make it tough though

Good performance from Farmer had him winning a comfortable 118-110, totally outclassed the brave but limited Fonseca, it wasn't a competitive fight and even the rounds I gave to Fonseca were close, Farmer's defence is by far his best attribute so hard to catch clean and he counters beautifully at times with that left hand come uppercut, throws some nice shots to the body and uses the ring well., his offence can be improved a little especially when throwing combinations but all in all a great performance I thought
Even though Fonseca was stopped by Davis he probably had more success in that fight as far as punches landed went, he took his lumps against Farmer, never stopped coming forward but was never in the fight

Mayweather wont let him fight by all accounts, Eddie reached out to Floyd and Leonard Ellerbe to see about Davis fighting on a DAZN show but they refused, there's a few things people can criticise Hearn about but at least he has his guys active and that for me puts him head and shoulders above any other promoter today
