ESPN reporting that talks are under way for Big Baby to face Trevor Bryan on January 18 for Bryan's WBA (BS) Interim Heavyweight Belt. I guess that's all we can hope for from Miller. Shine up that record, fat boy!

I don't see it happening on this short of notice.

WBA regular title is trash. Id be more impressed with a USA title, or a British title, or fornicate, an Australian title. The fact that an interim belt exists for what essentially is a meaningless belt to begin with blows my mind. Another excuse for miller to fight trash, and then when he wins it he will have a reason to fight trash for the real WBA reg title. Then when he has that he will act like he is a world champ, even though he has beat noone, and WBA reg is defiantly not a real world champs belt.

A contender will face another contender? Not an often situation today. Bryan is a blown up contender though. Well, this option is decent in the sense. that they'll face each other, not some old semi-retired guy or just some no name.

Leaving aside the dubious belt at stake, it’s a decent match up between two ranked fighters

Bryan's record is not much better than Bogdan Dinu's record, to be fair i haven't seen much of him so i don't know if he's at least decent and much better than Dinu or is he just better known (especially in the States) and that's why people think he's better but in fact he's on Dinu's level. But from what i've seen he's going to be knocked out vs Miller, quite easily.

It’s kind of interesting that there’s at least half a dozen different videos on YouTube containing footage of Bryan sparring Miller.

Based on my superficial review of their sparring sessions, the ‘Big Baby’ appeared to be much bigger and also the busier fighter.

However, I’m not sure what stages of their respective training camps both fighters were in, which means that Trevor Bryan may not have been at full fitness.

Based on Eddie Hearn’s penchant to protect Jarrell Miller, you have to assume that the ‘Big Baby’ is facing another over-matched opponent, who seems to possess a padded record. Miller’s handlers wouldn’t have risked their guaranteed mega-money AJ payday facing a dangerous opponent that could potentially derail their money train.

Therefore, I can’t foresee any other outcome than Miller using his 80lbs weight advantage to secure a late rounds stoppage victory.

Did you see how much notice there was for Miller - Dinu? It was like a half second or something.

Wasn't this fight hinted at for a while now? They were doing some back and forth like a contender trying to call out a champion. There is no reason for this fight to happen, but Bryan is at least better than Oquendo who Miller was supposedly targeting.

The difference being Trevor has the #1 WBA status. This fight has more political crap envolved
