UFC staying with BT Sports

For the mma fans on here, BT Sports were due to lose their UFC TV rights at the end of 2018, with Eleven Sports a streaming service taking over.

However the UFC has pulled out of the deal after Eleven Sports failed to get a UK TV distribution deal, despite Eleven Sports having links to the UFC's owners, and signed a multi-year deal to stay with BT Sports.

Very happy with this as instead of yet another monthly payment means I can just stick with BT Sports for the UFC, boxing & the free access to allegedly.

BT originally 'lost' the contract a month after I signed up. So this is a fantastic development. I find watching two UFC fighters I've no prior investment in more compelling than two unknown boxers. They sell it really well.

I'm well happy; love UFC. I mostly prefer it to boxing these days.
