I don't think it's a coincidence that Canelo fought for the regular smw wba title and the full wba champion is Callum Smith. wba would probably order Callum to defend his title against his mandatory challenger in Canelo.

Conor had a $30 million guarantee for that fight, and was expected to receive a final pay of $75 million (they signed NDA's regarding their actual pay). UFC pays respectable money to its undercard fighters, but it does not pay significantly more for its fighters at the top of the card. If any UFC fighter could make $15 million for a fight with Alvarez, I think they would take it, even if they were a mortal lock to lose.

Khabib would make crazy money if he'd fight Canelo and it's no shame to lose against the best in boxing/one of. Also this fight would sell like crazy, faster than a rabbit gets fUcked.
