I am not asking if Whyte deserved a titleshot or not, it's a different question, i'm just asking if that fights is exciting for you? I personally have zero interests in this fight and this match-up brings zero excitement to me.

If no AJ/Wilder or Fury, then let's see Whyte II. What else is there? Big Flabby Miller? No...Pulev? C'mon...Ortiz?...never happen...

Yeah, Fury should rematch Wilder, while Joshua can fight Whyte in that time. Miller is also a contender, but Whyte did more for that shot.

Whyte deserves it or at least some kind of shot.

I don’t want to see it though. If Joshua isn’t fighting Fury and Wilder, I’d rather see him against Pulev or even Miller. Someone different to what we’ve seen before.

Not really, Answering the question directly, I’d much prefer Miller aj. If that fails I’ll still watch and be mildly interested in aj Whyte 2.

I'd watch it because I like boxing. But as for actually wanting to see it? Not over Fury, Wilder or even Usyk.

AJ needs to fight one of the big boys. He already annihilated Whyte before it wasn't competitive. Whyte's got heart and I quite like him but he's made a lot of money and I don't feel in the least bit bad for him having to wait in the queue. The Chisora fights and the Parker fight have made him a fan favourite and good for him. Maybe Fury can beat him up if Wilder goes with the Joshua payday?

id prefer aj vs miller/ortiz/wilder/fury/usyk. of course these are not very likely to happen next, well maybe milller has a chance.

but granted i think whyte deserves a shot, just that i have always been bigger on seeing new match ups before rematches

unifications should be a priority but in this case dude to the majority of people thinking fury beat wilder i think they need to rematch first. In that case your left with, Whyte, miller, usyk, ortiz, pulev.

Ortiz needs a meaningfull win after his last loss in a title fight, pulev has done fornicate all in years but is a mandatory so mabey i guess. Millers resume looks decent at a glance but is actuly just a bunch of guys way past there prime, needs to fight a real contender befor he gets a shot. Usyk deserves it due to clearing the cruisers, and i think he gives AJ problems, but probly should spend 2019 getting use to the weight.

when whyte first fought aj he had no good amature background, and zero good wins as a pro. he was at the early stage of been a prospect and he still wobbled AJ. Since then how much has he developed, been in great fights, with proper oponents, he deserves a title shot 2019 , be it wilder or AJ or fury (terrible match up though).

Even though there are more intriguing bouts than a potential rematch between AJ and Whyte, I truly doubt that many of them would be as exciting and competitive.

Whether any of us would like to acknowledge this blatantly obvious fact or not, Dillian Whyte is a truly world class fighter that would pose a serious threat to the likes of Joshua, Wilder or Fury.

Joshua vs Miller is a much better fight imo than Joshua vs Whyte. i would like to see how AJ deals with Big Baby, we already know how will AJ vs Whyte end up. i have more interest even in AJ vs Pulev (he's a no hoper just like Whyte of course) only because Joshua still never faced him.

There's no denying Whyte is fully deserving of a title shot and he poses a greater threat to Joshua than anybody other than Wilder, Fury, possibly Miller, possibly Usyk or even Hrgovic, but do I want to see it ... no not really.

Why not, it's a good fight? I guess the truth is I'd rather see either of them fight Wilder rather than see AJ removing Dillian from contention or losing his title.

For me the perfect scenario would be for Whyte to fight Wilder and the winner to fight AJ. At least that was my perfect scenario but that situation has got a little more complicated thanks to the re-emergence on the scene of Tyson Fury.

The earliest date any potential rematch between AJ and Whyte could be scheduled would be April 13th of next year and by that time, almost three and a half years would have transpired since their first bout, with both men having improved enormously since then, whilst also having competed in a combined total of 16 fights.

Therefore, there’s every chance that any rematch between Joshua and Whyte could play out completely differently to their first bout – not necessarily the outcome, but the narrative of the fight itself. We won't be watching a mere replay of the very same "story".

It would be extremely naïve for anyone to seriously believe that both men are currently the same fighters they were in 2015.

I am interested in the rematch as some time has passed and both have improved with numerous fights since. Whyte seems focused and has earnt a title shot.

If this can not happen yet, let Whyte face Wilder and AJ vs Fury. I have no interest in a Fury/Wilder rematch.

As AJ said, after Wilder and Fury is Whyte. He’s a better fighter than he was first time round. I’m sure AJ vs Whyte 2 sells

It’s obvious both have improved and as most are saying, Whyte deserves his shot 100%, more so than anyone in the division right now.

But, and I know it’s very harsh on him, I just don’t want to see it.

I think both have improved considerably since their first fight but I also think Joshua won with relative ease in their first fight. He took a big shot, a shot which turns out is something of a very serious punch since ( dropping Parker and knocking out Browne and Del Boy ) which might suggest Joshua did well to remain upright.
Other than that though, Joshua eased to victory in what was actually a relatively wild performance from him. He fought the wrong fight yet still won with plenty to spare.

I’d say both have improved by a smiliar amount since. For me any rematch ends with Joshua stopping Whyte within 7 rounds,

Having two wars with Del Boy and squeezing past a Parker lacking in confidence and who was buzzed from the headclash for some of their fight, suggests it won’t be any more competitive.
Joshua would kill Chisora within 4 rounds and he had a nice easy night against Parker where he didn’t have to force anything.

Of course, you never know with the big boys but this fight doesn’t intrigue me at all really.

Whyte deserves it though.

What I’d like to see is Joshua fight 3 times a year. That would go a long way to making such fights acceptable. Twice a year and neither fight featuring Wilder, Fury or Usyk will be very disappointing.

No, Whyte didn't show anything against Chisora that made me think he could beat AJ this time around. Give me AJ/Usyk. Wilder and Fury should rematch and Miller has beaten nobody to warrant a shot at AJ.

I just can't see Fury hanging around for those types of fights now. I think it will be title fights or nothing. I don't think he's back for the long game.

AJ is playing this eventual fight with Wilder/Fury like a genius. By this time next year, a winner will be declared in the Wilder/Fury rematch and with a victory over White in stylish fashion, the biggest fight of the year will be made.

Whether it’s Wilder or Fury, it doesn’t matter to AJ. If he can just do his job against Whyte then the biggest fight in a long time will be set for AJ to clean the tables off.
