What do you guys think of Danny Jacobs resume? Imo he has done pretty good in sport of boxing
- very good effort against Golovkin
- shutout over prospect Luis Arias
- close, but good wins over Maciej Sulecki and Sergey Derevyanchenko
- demolition of Peter Quillin

For me, he is clearly number 3 in middleweight. He definitely deserves big fight against Alvarez, should be a entertaining fight :box: :box: :box:

No slack in his resume. Among the top MWs for certain. Sulecki and Arias wins weren't that close. Golovkin fight too close to call.

..if my memory serves me right Jacobs was a lot heavier on the fight night against GGG factually belonging to the higher weight class..which I classify as legal cheating...

i like the Jacobs vs Canelo fight.

Jacobs vs Arias was a mismatch a Arias did nothing in this fight, Jacobs vs Sulecki could go either way though Jacobs deserved it a little bit more, those fights cannot be lumped together.

Jacobs is a true warrior. He literally has fought almost everyone. He fought the two biggest monsters in the MW division in GGG and Pirog. He lost to both, but there is no shame in that when all the other champions wanted nothing to do with either. Martinez, Sturm, and Quillin were straight ducking.

Anyways, his resume is very good. Other than Pirog, his biggest fights have all been close.

1. GGG-Scored it for Jacobs but it could've gone either way, razor close.
2. Derevyanchenko-Scored it for Derevyanchenko but it was razor close.
3. Sulecki-Scored it for Jacobs but it was razor close.
4. Quillin-Straight destroyed Quillin, and I'm pretty sure Jacobs was the underdog. At least, I don't think many gave him a
chance after he got dropped by Sergio Mora.

Respectable wins:

Truax, Mora x2, Smith, Arias

He had some pretty good defences of his ‘Regular’ belt.

Does anyone else think Jacobs has slipped since the GGG fight?
Last 2 fights I've noticed his timing has been a bit off, when his counters used to be spot on, now they seem a fraction of a second slow :maybe:

Maybe GGG got into his head.
Fair point.
