There are a lot of world class Aussie fighters fighting for major titles at the

I would think Jeff Fenech also has something to do with it as an ex-fighter and now a respected trainer, but your right we do seem to be having a bit of a 'Aussie invasion' in the Boxing world at the moment.

Fenech and Kostya are the two stars I think it has stemmed from. Fenech for having success as a trainer, and Kostya for his success as Champion. Both those guys are revered and there seems to be a culture of respect in Aussie boxing now for all contenders, even the pariah Mundine is contributing to it in his own way. Will be interesting to see if a new breed emerges after this school burns out.

Mundine is a really talented fighter it is just a shame he has a big mouth and a jaw that should be sitting pretty on the mantelpiece. Australia seems to be breeding a group of hard hitters..is it something in the water over there?

Supposedly Shannan Taylor may be next in line for Kassim Ouma's IBF 154 title.
