Promoter and gambler get time for fixing fight!

Has anyone heard of this guy: Buddy Scott 120-30-6 (with 64 KO)?

At one time he held both the USA Texas State Heavyweight Title & Southern Heavyweight Title (of which I knew nether existed.)

Check out his resume; not a bad career.

But in the end it looks like he became a tanker?

His last few fights in 1950 (as recorded by Boxrec) don't look kosher. The fight mentioned below was not recorded by (Boxrec).

So, is this in fact the same guy? The newspaper says "Harold" and "Dallas" -- his Boxrec record reads: "Russell Haskell" and "Electra"

There is an Oscar Buchanan out of Memphis but his four fight record (4-4-0) stops in '49, which makes me think the fixed fight mentioned below went down as a NC, not as a KO or even a ND.

At least they were prosecuting perpetrators of fixed boxing matches back then. Now it's just considered a perfectly normal and expected part of boxing.
