Who would win in their prime at light heavyweight between former 3 time champion Marvin Johnson and former WBA Vicente Rondon? I say Johnson would pound Rondon into submission in 10 rounds for a TKO. What about you?

You're right, I would personally say about the 9th round.

Marvin came into his own during the latter stages of that 1970's golden era of LHW's. He could really bang. I'd take him over Rondon by KO very late, like how he handled an on the down side Victor Galindez. He seemed to come up a short in most of his bigger fights, but he had a lot of great fighters to deal with. Galindez; Matthew Saad; Eddie Gregory, and later Michael Spinks, etc. It's funny how the division became so loved after Bob Foster's dominant run ended.

Thanks and Rondon was fading away as a former champion and contender when the 1970s Golden Age of the Light Heavyweights came around.
