Danny's shot in Vegas confirmed...

You probably know this, but Danny's December 11 clash with Vitali Klitschko has been confirmed for the Mandalay Bay in Sin City. Scott Murray, who sparred regularly with Danny a few years ago and was at ringside when he shook up the world against Tyson, is organising a trip.
Return flights from London, and five days (four nights) in Vegas, will cost around £600.

Real shame, this fight deserved to be at MSG. Mandalay Bay ain't exactly the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre though, so it's still gonna be a big, BIG night for Danny Williams and British boxing. Can't wait.

What's wrong with the Mandalay bay anyhow? didn't go there when I was there. Haven't seen the garden either.

There's nothing wrong with Ponds Forge. Typical Cockney arrogance.

Exactly, it's in Sheffield, that's what's wrong with it.

Looking at Klitschko keeps reminding me of Ivan Drago except hes not as muscular as Dolph Lundgren and not blond haired. If he stirs at him and says i must break you then im going to laugh. Wonder if Lennox's advice helps he could have a stamina problem though being that tall and being 245 pounds but Danny weighs more then him too.
I can't wait for this to be on pay per view though. Plus decmeber the 11th's my 19th brithday. 8)

Danny is a much bigger framed man that Vitali, he has a huge ribcage and shoulders, and his legs are the thickest I have ever seen as a heavyweight. I would love to see a tale of the tape for Danny.

They'd have to relocate Old Trafford first, or thousands of our fellow southerners will have nowhere to watch footy on a Saturday. Then again, I suppose a big whack of the red scum have become dyed-in-the-wool Gooners by now...
