Dillian Whyte offered Joshua fight

Whyte was on the Jim White show on Talksport. He said he has been offered the Joshua fight for a smaller purse than the Chisora fight.
Is "Stay Humble" pricing himself out of fights or does he think 80,000 people will pay to watch him shadow box?

80,000 casuals would pay,i'd love to see Joshua ko'd by Whyte, when boxers start going on about 'their worth' i lose respect for them, give the man his chance and pay him well for gods sake,as if Joshua isn't rich enough already :shame:

If he's only offering crumbs to Whyte, will "Stay Humble" ever be generous enough to offer a slice to Wilder or Fury?

I don't blame you for feeling this way. Fighters sometimes forget that their "wealth" is entirely due to the fans. I wish these guys would get their shvt together for the us already.

No he won't but he'll be quick to blame them for the fight not happening.

If it prevents it from happening next then I’m sort of happy.

Dillian deserves his shot more than anyone, but its a boring fight imo. We’ve seen it and both have improved to the level that I think it’ll be even more emphatic next time.

Joshua and Eddie will get a pasting when they officially announce his next opponent if its not Wilder or Fury anyway.

He might be better off nipping over to the States and turning Miller upside down and get out of the way and hope to wow ‘the Garden’

Casuals in America must surely see Wilder and Fury as the main men. AJ won’t be big news at MSG.

AJ hasn't tried to conquer America. He has all the attributes that the US fight public likes. Size; punch; and a bit of an aura. It took Lennox Lewis a long time, but most American boxing fans hold LL in very high regard today. I'd like to see AJ at MSG and on non-pay TV. I think it would enhance his standing, as well as his value for subsequent fights here in the States.

Common theme is Joshua / Hearn seem very greedy and are getting worse, takes 2 to make a good fight and they should pay accordingly.

He seems happy enough fighting twice a year in front of 80,000 with the darts promoters keeping him away from anyone too dangerous.

Cheers for that man.... That's bloody bordering on insane  If true it shows these cùnts for what they are! If they're gonna pick to take on Whyte then give the guy a wedge! He's fuckin deserved it ffs! The way these arseholes think they can just monopolise the division boils my pish!

People are more interested in Fury/Wilder rematch anyway and that must fuckin sting!

What a crock of bullshvt, offering him less than what he made vs Chisora? I just really cannot stand the Hearn/AJ show.

obviously the A side can drive a hard bargain. doesn't mean they "don't want the fight." it's easy to say Joshua doesn't want Whyte, doesn't want Fury, doesn't want Wilder. it's just part of the business that we have to put up with.

This makes absolutely no sense. Whyte's last 6 fights include wins over Chisora twice, Helenius, Browne and Parker. Pretty good going tbh.

Give the man a fair payday. 30-35% would be fair. Sounds like they've offered a flat fee. Which is less than the fee he got for Chisora.

AJ should be in against either Fury or Wilder really. Though Dillon deserves to be 3rd in the list of potential opponents.

Jarrell Miller is absolutely dreadful. Really hope it doesn't turn out to be him.

Oh, absolutely. I get that the Joshua team will end up making the best deal possible. I really just cannot stand all the bullsvt back and forth; rumors; public negotiating; etc. As a fan, just tell me who; where; when. :witzend:

That bit didn't help his public persona one iota. From the HW perspective, we're currently left with; no card at Wembley April 13; No opponent for Miller Jan. 18; No date for Wilder/Fury rematch; a 42 y/o Wlad making waves; well, at least we have Rivas/Jennings! :brick:
