I really like how this man get better and better oposition. He is facing Diego Magdaleno if february. If he can beat him convincingly, bring some top 20 boxer !!!

He should handily beat Magdaleno, but it won't move Lopez up into the top 20 or any where near, I don't think. After a terrific amateur career and 11 wins on the pro circuit, Lopez still needs two or three step up fights IMHO before we start seeing him in the discussion. The kids' only 21, and it should be a fun ride! By end of the year, we'll see, I suppose.
Agreed on that. He's miles from Lopez previous opponents, so its' a good step no doubt. I'm not criticizing the kid at all.Onekrazyrican wrote: ↑15 Jan 2019, 17:01 Magdaleno is a very good step up to follow up the highlight reel KO he had against MenardI like the style matchup hopefully it goes some rounds. If Lopez beats him soundly or scores a big KO I would be very impressed. I agree there shouldnt be a hurry at this stage but it seems like Arum is ready to give him a decent push.
Looking forward to it !!Best Coast wrote: ↑17 Jan 2019, 01:58 Lopez says he will win a world title in 2019 and IMO he has a realistic shot to be the first 2016 Olympian to win a major world title as a pro.
