So, Alvarez - Jacobs is official. What do you think GGG will do in 2019 in boxing ? Personally i would love to see him delivering beating to Saunders, but dont think he can make that fight. Demetrius Andrade is still here, years ago i was pretty hyped about him but i do not know now. I would be disapointed if GGG retire now

Won't happen but Jermall/GGG would be sweet.

Smith/Ramirez/Plant

losing to jermall or saunders or smith would be good matches

or maybe a can and then a rematch with dj or nelo

It appears that his wife had a daughter in 2017, and the girl's name is still unknown to public.

Hopefully now Golovkin will get back to boxing business.

He should face Andrade, and retire after that.

Yeah, Andrade is a low-hanging fruit right now. He won't trouble GGG and is a solid name somehow.

As others have suggested I think Andrade would make for a decent fight, but I do expect him to fight Canelo one more time (though the odds decrease as time passes), and even with a lacking public desire to do so I think Golovkin could move up in weight and be successful. He would have to adapt, both to his decreasing strength and greater size disadvantages, but he has a very technical history and a change of trainer to somebody who would bring that out rather than what I think has been a pretty one dimensional (yet successful) push by Abel Sanchez for the stalking power puncher with good generalship. Something similar to the mid to late rounds of his second Canelo fight, more reserved, and in a sense defensive could help him succeed into 40.

Canelo’s decision to face Jacobs in May could potentially influence the type of deal Gennady makes, since Danny is a promotional and TV network free agent advised by Al Haymon, whereas Alvarez is a GBP promoted fighter that is contractually-tied to DAZN.

To fight Andrade and then Canelo-Jacobs winner for the undisputed championship. And then depending on the outcome/aftermath.

Anyway he looks very good for his age. Some can point on not dominant recent performances vs Jacobs and Canelo, the two of which were actually ruled as draw and loss respectively. But that's more of stepping up in the opposition level, than aging. Maybe both, but the first definitely. That's logical, Golovkin's career was kinda mild for himself - go out there, knock out another guy. It was lacking life-taking wars. So GGG still has a lot left.

He can now take on Munguia. He was schedule to fight him but sanctioning bodies prevent the fight to happen seeing Munguia not fit to fight with the likes of GGG that time.

I'm merely saying he's at the point in his career where he can look old quickly. Facing Andrade and then a match with the Canelo/Jacobs winner is his best avenue to finishing up a terrific career.

If saunders beats andrade (no doubt here), golovkin versus saunders would be an amazing fight.

Then canelo after he most probably got gifted the decision against jacobs should take on the winner (saunders for me) & we would witness yet another robbery.

Would be huge contests de la corruption mondial & fixing and fuckover festivals but also the best fights & i'd like to see it all happening in 2019/first half of 2020.

Most probably none of it will happen.
