Whyte & Breazeale open to heavyweight fight talks

Dillian Whyte and Dominic Breazeale are bantering about a fight between the two top WBC contenders.
Whyte certainly wastes no time (as he said he would) getting a fight in the event that his proposed bout with AJ doesn't take place. The two had discussed a fight back in 2017 and both parties see no roadblocks to getting it on.
I would love to see this fight. Another two top 10 HW's going at it. We have a lot of HW action coming our way.

Just saw this as well. I think they should just do it. Wasting their careers waiting otherwise as the top 3 only really want to fight each other at this point and will only take another fight if mandated to and can't get out of it (or their manager/promoter lines up an easy defence).
I see Whyte winning but Breazeale will probably get his second highest payday if it's on Matchroom. Whyte has been talking to Haymon so who knows how this could go.

I'm a bit surprised that Breazeale would be open to this fight. Seems to me he's not been too anxious to fight any credible fighter if no 'real' belt on the line, ala AJ and Wilder. This would really be a decent fight, I think.

So are those two f*ckers still searching for something, while they have each other?

As if earning a shot is about who will beg for that louder, not about 2 top contenders facing in an elimination.

I think it's probably all talk. If Brazeale wanted a big fight before his Wilder payday, he would have taken it already.
In saying that, I would love them to fight- especially after Whyte lost his #1 ranking to a most undeserving Brazeale. That corrupt crap still grinds my gears how it happened.

The WBC probably wouldn’t instate Dillian Whyte as the mandatory challenger to Deontay Wilder’s title even if he defeated Dominic Breazeale. Mauricio Sulamain would find a way to wriggle out of it.

Yeah, it sucks that a guy can win and defend their silver belt 3 times against Browne, Parker and Chisora- then be bumped out of #1 contention, whilst still holding thier silver belt by Dominic Brazeale, who has done
nothing since losing to AJ along time ago.

Mauricio is a chip off the old block for certain.

Its nothing to do with who is better or not. It's the WBC corruption.
Breaking their own rules. It stinks and you know it.

It's been happening since Jose Sulaiman's days. Maybe worse then.

Doesn't bother me any. I don't care about the belts, much less who's ranked where. Haven't for years. Whyte has definitely earned a shot, but I'd rather see wilder vs fury and the winner vs Josh.

The WBC like all of the corrupt organizations use that little line of bullcrap. "At the descretion of the ratings committee"
It's all crap and they can and will do what they want

Of course we would all love to see those fights. And we all love a champion if it's deserved. You may not care about the belts, but the whole system is designed so that the most deserving fighter makes his way up to #1 contender- making the champion fight the best fighter below him. Which means we get to see the best fights. It doesn't work if the rankings are manipulated. The best fight in the WBC's rankings are Whyte Vs the champ. That should be a mandatory.

Maybe not the best fight, but the most deserving contender. Whyte earned it, like it or not.

The rankings have never worked that way though. I remember watching Roberto castanon and Alfredo evangelista. Rare the best fights are mandatories. The wbc has always been corrupt. I rolled my eyes at Fergus pretending it's wilder specific.

No doubt. I grew up in the era of Jose Sulaiman and Don King. It don't get more corrupt than that.
