Having abs never won a fight. They at least look like athletes but numerous greats didn't look in top shape.
very few greats looked like slobs during their greatness though
No argument on that. But looking like a fitness model hasn't won many titles.
That's all I'm saying

I’m as bored as the rest at seeing fat heavyweights so fair play. Unfortunately they are both also something I’m tired of seeing, very, very, very average heavyweight boxers.
Fingers crossed Rivas surprises us and produces something special to announce himself. We already know what Jennings has got

Bob Arum seems rather forgetful nowadays.
Well. Maybe he was referring to the bigger names.
Like Amir Khan?
Haymon is supposedly still involved in the Brits fights when staged on US soil. Khan confirmed this during an interview with iFL TV.
Amir Khan is still officially listed as a PBC fighter on their website.
Yes. I know.
He meant the boxers that are currently promotional free currently with PBC.
Guys like the Charlo’s, Spence, Thurman, Garcia x2, Porter.
All those above have no official promoter promoting them. Obviously Khan is advised by Haymon, this listed on the site.

Their looks are very deceiving. Rivas' stamina is atrocious. I think Fat Miller and Fat Ruiz Jr. have better stamina. This is boxing, not a beauty contest.
Fat Fury could've went in there and beat them both.

I understand what you say, but had Amir Khan chosen not to face Bud, Terence Crawford was supposedly lined-up to face Luis Collazo instead, which is another PBC fighter.
I don't understand Arum's gripes about Al Haymon, since PBC guys do compete in bouts against fighters from the Top Rank stable.
However, Bob Arum keeps saying the following about Al Haymon: “won’t cooperate with anyone,” he's the “cancer on the business.”... “He won’t deal with anybody, he won’t make fights with anybody...”
