He lost by split decision against rocky fielding in 2017.

I actually like this fight. Big fan of Ryder. Did he not win a WBA final eliminator? Thought he'd be in line for a shot at the belt Canelo just beat Rocky for. Looking at the rankings, Ryder is #1 and Chudinov is #2. He'd win that fight imo. Does he win a version of a title or probably go for more money against Lemieux?

Both these guys are entertaining to watch (IMO) so putting them both in there should be a pretty neat match up.
I'm backing John, he probably won't win, but I'll be cheering him on regardless

Nah. Ryder is British level. Lemieux stops him at any weight.

Lemieux is difficult to match, he's best served as a gatekeeper for prospects. Though mexiwrong is a fan.

its not that difficult , hes had lots of fights, just give him c+/b- or below guys, hes won easily enough vs spike, stevens, rosado, guerrero, tapia, etc and also beat ndam, just keep him away from top guys unless you are using him as a b side like he would be vs canelo

I'm not all that familiar with this John Ryder guy, but based on the results I've seen I'd think Lemieux can probably take him, but he'll likely have a bit of trouble in this bout.

Ryder is tailor made for Lemieux. Easy stoppage win for David.
