I enjoyed watching the Wepner bio flick Chuck. But, I'm surprised to see another bio is out on Wepner called The Brawler. Doesn't this seem a little odd?

I saw CHUCK never seen the BRAWLER.
Was it based partly on another fighter ?

I think maybe there trying to get some type of "William Smith" type of charactor for the portrayel of Wepner in that movie (?)
