Kash Ali v Kamil Sokolowski 15th Feb

I'm looking forward to this fight. It seems that Kamil Sokolowski is the current boxers merry-go-round to see who can beat him the quicker.
To be honest even though Ali is unbeaten in 14, only 6 ko's this is not a certain win for him. Ali has beaten Kamil once before over 4 rounds by 1 point and this fight is a 6 rounder. I feel Kamil is better over 6 rounds so im expecting a good close fight. Kamil Sokolowski is getting to be one of my favorite journeymen similar to the late Michael Murray

Gotta love Soko! He'll crash the Kash. Another prospect/suspect getting KTFO by Kamil!

Anyone know why Kamil Sokolowski pulled out? or was he swapped out by Kash's camp.

Safer opponent for Ali.

And now he's fighting a 35yo lad who's 2-2, and whose last win was in 2012.

Cant really see the point of Alis career-8 years as a pro and no attempt to step up.

If Mark Bennett wins in March I can see him fighting him after that one

Am I going to be the one to point out that Ali has already beaten Sokolowski?

It was a squeaker. He was signed to fight him again and Soko was replaced. I was looking forward to Soko ending another prospects dreams.

of course he has but over 4 rounds, by 1 point. Soko is better over 6. im guessing you didnt read the opener

shame as the soko fight over 6 was a good benchmark as to how Ali has progressed. If he could beat soko well or get him out of there then Ali is ready to launch an assault on english title etc. all the high quality experience Ali has, it really is time to step up.

Price should be able to take away the zero. Strange turn of events for Ali.

now we know why Ali is not fighting Sok any more. the phone must have rang with a bigger purse offer.......thats boxing!!
its a good intriguing match up. price has the big backhand and the poor engine......if Kash avoids it for 4 or 5 rounds he can break big Priceys heart.
its a step up in class for Kash, but its a fight that, if Price loses, its goodnight boxing hello plumbing.

I'm thinking Ali is cashing in a loss here a decent payday. Im also thinking Ali realises how good he really is. To be honest this is a bizarre opponent for Ali. He will get knocked out by Price. Im not really sure why he wants the fight other than a pay day.

hes been a pro 8 years and has just 14 fights and pretty much all vs nobodies, this will be a biggest payday, biggest exposure by far and boost if he wins, and he might think anyone has a chance vs price, it makes sense....

It's a decent risk/reward the way you put it.

Reminiscent of Audley Harrison vs Ali Adams. Will probably have a similar result.

I remember when Price refused to fight Allen as he felt he was a level below him.
Now Allen is fighting the dangerous Lucas Browne, while Price faces another hand picked opponent.

A good comparison, and likely the same result.
