Okolie v the limited, soft chinned Camacho is a mismatch designed to remove some of the stink from Okolie's recent octopus impersonations. If Okolie has the right attitude this might not go a round.

This smells like another crap/dull fight IMO.

Camacho is an awful watch, combine that with Lawrence and its going to stink the place out.

12 rounds with Camacho having to jump in to get past Okolies jab and getting tangled up. I don't think that the two styles are going to mesh well.

Does Okolie actually stop Camacho? Like he stopped Watkins?

So should go a few rounds? Full distance?

I expect a really scruffy 12 rounder personally.

Same. Like the Atkins and Chamberlain fights.

You guys are right, the main event is a bit crap.

But- what about Joshua Buatsi vs Liam Conroy?
That fight interests me. Conroy, after some early career hiccups, is on a reasonable run of form.
Buatsi, I'm still not convinced about yet. Pity the Quinlan fight didn't go a bit longer.

Hopefully this fights ends early or we could be in for a stinker, Okolie's fights with Chamberlain and Askin are two of the worst ive seen in recent years, he does have that power though to KO a guy early as we've see with Watkins and few stiffs, he really needs to work on the basics though which considering he's a former Olympian is pretty staggering, he has no inside game but still neglects to keep opponents on the end of his gigantic reach, he just throws himself over guys and holds for dear life, I thought Askin beat him by a point, Okolie was lucky to get the win with the 3 point deductions, lucky not to be DQ'd in fact

Not really seen much of Camacho lately, he's game and has heart and probably fundamentely better than Okolie but his chin is suspect and I reckon once Okolie tags him he'll go early, would be surprised if this goes passed the halfway mark

Okolie (11-0-0, 8 KOs) has no regrets about the fallout with Whyte.

“What I would say is that I come under criticism from fans, that’s fine. I come under criticism from coaches, that’s fine,” he exclusively told Starsport.

“When I come under criticism from fighters, especially ones that are in a higher status than me, that’s when I take it a little bit more personal.

“Dillian Whyte is a person who obviously has had problems with my manager in Anthony Joshua and wants to fight him. So I think he’s been one main advocators for: ‘this guy will beat Lawrence.’

“On the day when I tweeted him, he was on film talking about people beating me. He’s been in the corner for other people that I’ve boxed, he was an advocate for the Matty Askins fight.

“So he doesn’t have my best interests at heart and he’s never used his profile to help me. And at the same time, he’s never picked up the phone to call me and tell me: ‘hey, you should work on this.’

“So he’s not my friend and that’s that.”
