Gorman is scheduled to fight Feb 23. Anyone have any idea against who??? All I hear is his camp talking about a Dubois showdown, but he still doesn't have an opponent for his next fight.

The British Boxing Board of Contorl nominated Gorman to fight for Dubois' English Heavyweight title but Fwank who promotes both was having none of it. He sees this as a money-spinner somewhere down the line.

Gorman seemed quite keen, Dubois had little to say. Whether the BBBC decide to strip Dubois of his English title and nominate Gorman and someone else for the vacant title remains to be seen.

I have a feeling it will be a step down from Cojanu which is terrible. At least he's staying active but he looks far beyond that level already.

Warren will probably not let the Dubois fight happen this year either. I think his advise gets through to Dubois whereas Gorman listens to Hatton more which is why Gorman wants it.

There can't be someone decent on such a short notice.

That makes sense, Hatton and Gorman are probably sick of constantly playing second fiddle to Dubois and feel beating him is the best way to get the attention they feel they deserve.

Gorman is definitely not even close to being Warren's priority when he definitely one of his best boxers. He has more potential than both Dubois and Yarde in my opinion but looks less the part which is weird considering Warren's biggest name looks a hell of a lot like Gorman. I guess Warren thinks you have to look like Ali or talk like him if you want to get promoted well.

I wonder what his contact situation is like at the moment. I'm sure both Matchroom and PBC would be interested in him if he's available.

It's very possible I guess.

Who would have thunk that you would see boxer's proposing in the ring minutes after getting knocked out in a championship fight?

Nathan Gorman is competing on a Queensberry Promotions fight card, which means he’ll likely be facing Daniel Dubois, since Tyson Fury will likely be scheduled to face Deontay Wilder.

I reckon Dynamite’s bout on the 8th March against Razvan Cojanu will be cancelled, with Dubois facing Gorman instead two weeks earlier, since the Romanian was defeated by Gorman only a couple of months ago.

The only alternative is that Nathan Gorman simply fights another journeyman.

He's not facing Dubois anytime soon.

The much more likely alternative...

No he's not. Come on EO - you know that as well as anyone, and better than most.

This is just a stay-busy fight, only 2 months after having gone 12 rounds. He isn't going to be fighting anybody you've heard of.

My money is in Tom Little or Kevin Johnson.. Maybe DL Jones or Dorian Darch.

Should realistically go for someone the level of Dubois, Bakole, Granat, Schwarz before the summer in my opinion though. But I just don't see Frank coughing up the money.
