According to Boxing Central Woods was dropped in the first but rallied for a 12th round TKO....Delisle was on decent form coming into the fight so it was a tough fight for him. Did anyone see the fight? What was the scoring when the fight was stopped? Apparently it was halted by a local ref a minute before the end so i was thinking maybe there could have been a bit of controversy.

Not at all mate. I was there and there will be a full report up over at BBN later in the day. Woods got dropped in the first few seconds and you could feel a collective intake of breath.

But he got up and performed well. He was on the verge of stopping the Aussie (who was a real tough man) two or three times before the ref stepped in. He dropped him too. It was a shame the visitor didn't last the distance because he had shown great heart but had stopped firing back and Clinton really went for it.

An unfortunate but correct stoppage.

I might view the fight when I get the broadband installed (hope they keep it on the site for a while).

Who was winning on the cards at the time? I have been hearing mixed reports. I realise Woods was badly hurt early on but what was the fight like after he recovered.

He sounded chuffed to bits with his display, so that is pleasing anway.

Stu,he was behind IMO opinion until he had the Aussi down in the 7th then he slowly worked his back into it to force the stoppage.

Is anybody else getting the video so jerky as to make it unwatchable? We (alledgedly) have 512 broadband at work, and it's pretty shocking quality video on the 500k link. The boss will be back soon, so I suppose I better do some work and watch it from home later.

Also, does anyone know how to save a realmedia stream so I can burn it to CD?
