Michael Nunn

Nunn has finally been released from prison after serving 15 years for apparently being stitched up by the police for having drugs on him.

I hope Nunn gets back into boxing in the training way it would be great to see him doing something for the kids as he has a wealth of experience to pass on.

It was entrapment as a minimum. 15 years is bullturd.

Rapists get less

How bizarre, after not thinking about Nunn in a few years, I was reading about him just two weeks ago. I recall he was scheduled for released for something like 2026 and noted an article saying it was expected this year.

As for stitch-up? He was buying a kilo, and had history and form. I believe the length of the sentence is an indication that he was actually a bad man who had tried the patience of the authorities, plus America does not fck around like the UK

One of the biggest upsets ever in the UK has to be Steve Little beating Nunn on points. At the time Little was 21-13-2 and Nunn 42-1.

No one gave Little any chance , but Nunn just didn’t perform, probably thinking all he had to do was turn up.

Was on the same card as Benn vs Wharton that one I think.

I think the defence team made a big thing about that Nunn was offered a kilo of coke from undercover cops for a daft price. No coke ever changed hands.

Isn't that the very definition of entrapment?

That's allowed in Murcia, cops can shoot unarmed black peeps in the back too without fear of prosecution, strange old place

Long time to be locked up.
I hope he leads a good life from now on.
Excellent middleweight in his time.

Yes the price of the coke was very little and I'm sure many many people would have been interested.

The police must have been targeting Nunn but could not get enough evidence to convict, so offer the dude a carrot and hope he takes it, which he did.

Nunn can't have been squeaky clean prior and the cops must have wanted him pretty bad.

Thank God he’s out that was a terribly harsh sentence, his prime years gone in an instant

there’s millions of criminals far worse than Nunn who are walking free.

Nunn was a good fighter, more than a generic belt holder but odd to think that all he has is two WBA titles. not much more than Crolla for example.

Odd who boxing works out and how weak todays titles are.

He could not have been any more guilty, and yet still there are people out there who think he was "stitched up." Amazing!

15 years is a ridiculous sentence for that kind of crime.

I think they way they made it out was if the police didnt offer him 24000 worth of coke for 200 dollars he might not have done it,Obviously he had to agree but if they hadnt have offered such an easy money deal he might not have gone out and looked for it. I think he had previous as well tho so who knows

He was a persistent offender, had a background in trafficking and was buying what, a kilo of coke? What do you expect to happen? Nunn is obviously completely mentally retarded.

Did he not think it was a bit fishy? Ye gads, if I had his track record and a total stranger offered me a kilo of drugs for pennies I would turn around and run away screaming. The whole story has 25 YEAR MINIMUM written all over it. I don't know if that 58 number on his Boxrec page is his win column or his IQ.
