Saunders moving up to SMW

Rumours doing the rounds this morning our very own BJS is moving to SMW for the WBO strap, thoughts?
I think it is a good move pal, the MW division is hot but everything feels very sticky DAZN fighters being matched up against each other and vice versa with SHOWtime (i'll be honest not sure who Shefat Isufi is just browsed his record can't see any names of note)maverick23 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 05:15 There’s talk he’ll be matched with Shefat Isufi (am I the only one that’s never heard of him?!?) for the vacant WBO super middle belt.
I’d rather watch him fight Andrade and I would still like to see him mix with GGG, Canelo, Jacobs.
I guess picking up the WBO Supermiddle belt could lead to a fight with the winner of Eubank vs DeGale. I can’t see the Callum Smith fight happening.
So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.
In all fairness pal, I think a fit Saunders beats Canelo 9 times outta' 10 just a shame GBP want nothing to do with him !3132DW wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:24So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.![]()

I really do mate all other things being = and fair (for example judges, referee, venue) think that elusive style is Canelo's kryptonite, what do you think?bigjack wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 11:03Do you think so ?kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:26In all fairness pal, I think a fit Saunders beats Canelo 9 times outta' 10 just a shame GBP want nothing to do with him !3132DW wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:24So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.![]()

Stylewise BJS will prove difficult for Canelo, as Khan was too.dr_devious wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 11:59A fit Saunders beats Canelo 0 times out of 10kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:26

I just can't see anyway BJS could beat Canelo,Canelo is vastly improved since those days against Lara etc when some decisions could be argued,Saunders has been far too inactive and fought at a much lower level opponent in general and the momentum has gone since that good win in Canada.kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 11:18I really do mate all other things being = and fair (for example judges, referee, venue) think that elusive style is Canelo's kryptonite, what do you think?bigjack wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 11:03Do you think so ?kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:26In all fairness pal, I think a fit Saunders beats Canelo 9 times outta' 10 just a shame GBP want nothing to do with him !3132DW wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:24So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.![]()
I'm with you completely mate.liamlion wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:19 I wouldnt like this move.
Saunders in a middleweight. He needs to win his WBO middleweight title back and then sell his arse to DAZN for big money to fight Canelo in a unification or do a deal to fight GGG, wherever he ends up. The big money is an America and truly, Saunders has fought no one of real note at middleweight, which is a crying shame.
Saunders looks to have really good ability.
Like Tyson Fury he has created his own misfortune and like Fury, he has the ability to claw it back.
I would have little interest in him moving up to super middle and winning a WBO title because it would invariably mean that he would end up defending it against nobodies and missing out on huge fights at middelweight.
Your odds of 1/12 BJS and 13/2 Canelo seem appealing.bigjack wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 11:03Do you think so ?kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:26In all fairness pal, I think a fit Saunders beats Canelo 9 times outta' 10 just a shame GBP want nothing to do with him !3132DW wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:24So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.![]()
What’s a fit Saunders - he looked bigger than light heavy against Adamu ?kbackup408 wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:26In all fairness pal, I think a fit Saunders beats Canelo 9 times outta' 10 just a shame GBP want nothing to do with him !3132DW wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 10:24So he didn’t fancy GGG/Canelo/Jacobs/Andrade and means he can stay fatter for longerNoScoutingReports wrote: ↑18 Feb 2019, 09:21 Just been confirmed, he is moving up to SMW & fighting for the vacant WBO title on 13th April.![]()
