Tiger Flowers disputed birthdate

There were several fighters in the past had birthdate dispute like Archie Moore stated he was born in 1916, but his mother stated he was born 3 years earlier for example. Tiger Flowers was another fighter who had a disputed birthday, most sources stated he was born August 1895, but in this website Flowers was born in February 1893 instead. Could anyone please explain to me where they got the source that Flowers was born 2 years earlier in 1893?
