I no he didn't always please everyone etc but always had good opinion when not to do with him or hs family

well the actual thread starter seems to miss him, and tbf why waste ur time on commenting on wut u think are worthless posts?

ppl come here to comment on boxing and give there opinion on fight figures and fights etc, plus it literally takes 5 secs to type that type of stuff

Well he's not a boxer anymore, so it seems unfair for him to get shit for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I commented simply because it seems boxing fans in 2019 treat the sport like a panto that actually enjoying the fights. Basically Paul's minding his own business and getting shit online for it (and I'm no fan). It just saddens me that for such a supposedly macho, working class lot, boxing fans act like a knitting circle. I guess I'm just a dinosaur not cut out for the Facebook style mob mentality of threads anymore.

I guess rightly or wrongly I read 'we haven't given paul smith a hard time for a while..'
