48 years ago since the fight of the century - ali v frazier at madison square garden.
One of them, but not at the top of my list. While it had a lot of action, the rounds start to meld together for me. A bit redundant.
Did you remember where you was when that fight happened?tiny_acres wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 21:36 Damn I know I'm old. This just seems like the other day.
Where the hell has the time gone?
Listening to it on the radio. I didn't see it until it replayed on tv a week or 2 later.elmersalsa wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 22:56Did you remember where you was when that fight happened?tiny_acres wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 21:36 Damn I know I'm old. This just seems like the other day.

Can you explain to us the build up and anticipation leading up to the fight? The only 2 fights that I felt such anticipation were Duran vs Leonard I, and Leonard vs Hearns I. Those two fights were so electric. I will never forget the anticipation and build up. Also Leonard vs Hagler was the same way. But, I don't think that those fights were as anticipated like Ali vs Frazier I. Maybe, Ali vs Foreman was a close second in anticipation like the FOTC.tiny_acres wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 23:12Listening to it on the radio.
