One of them, but not at the top of my list. While it had a lot of action, the rounds start to meld together for me. A bit redundant.

The fight never lacked action.

Probably, the greatest solo performance in boxing history by the great Smokin'Joe Frazier. It was a performance for the ages. He fought his ass off, beating one of the greatest fighters in boxing history in Muhammad Ali.

Did you remember where you was when that fight happened?

Listening to it on the radio. I didn't see it until it replayed on tv a week or 2 later.

Can you explain to us the build up and anticipation leading up to the fight? The only 2 fights that I felt such anticipation were Duran vs Leonard I, and Leonard vs Hearns I. Those two fights were so electric. I will never forget the anticipation and build up. Also Leonard vs Hagler was the same way. But, I don't think that those fights were as anticipated like Ali vs Frazier I. Maybe, Ali vs Foreman was a close second in anticipation like the FOTC.
