ant only just came to my attention. maybe someone could back ant. 7-12 but now shut out blackledge and beat morgan jones on the run . also beat 3 unbeatens...beat ryan aston....dropped dignum twice
only 23 too whch really young for 168-175. maybe someone could back ant so hes not always the away corner and can focus more on specific fights and his own stuff rather then just being the opponent

Last nights was a cracking win, but what would be the motivation for a stranger to offer financial backing?

But.... so what?
What level title do you think he can win?
A backer would need a return on what is a risky investment and there just isn’t one here.

at only 23, with type of wins and moments ive seen now as an opponent taking these type of fights, ant could well go on to british or above

Nowhere near enough money at British title level even if that were achievable for someone to give him the financial support required to box full time and be in the blue corner.

relevant article from 2017 .....sponsorships for ant. still very young and getting better.
http://www.whitehorsenews.co.uk/blog/20 ... cal-boxer/
A WESTBURY boxer is on the hunt for sponsors to help him on his professional journey to fight for the Southern Area middlewight or super middleweight title.
Local man, Anthony Fox, who has been boxing for five years, turned professional in May 2016 with no amateur experience.
Anthony explained, “My brother was a professional boxer before me. I had wanted to box for a while, but was always a bit nervous about going to a boxing gym. Eventually, I asked my brother to take me to the gym with him.”
So far in his career, his record stands at two wins, 10 losses and four draws and he has competed in events broadcasted on allegedly, Sky Sports and ITV undercards. “My boxing career so far has been good. However it could have been better as I’ve been unlucky with a few close decisions that I’ve been on the wrong side of, due to being in the away corner. All four of my draws should have been wins in my and many other’s opinion, as well as some of the losses.
“A highlight of my career so far has probably been fighting current wbc International Middleweight champion, Craig Cunningham, who beat former Olympic bronze medalist Anthony Ogogo to win that title. Although I lost by two points, it was nice to know I could cause problems for someone at that level (the wbc International title wasn’t on the line). I’ve also sparred Chris Eubank Jr, which is another highlight.
“I’m looking to turn my career around by fighting on a couple of home shows, possibly one in Frome in March 2018 and then eventually fight for the Southern Area title. I currently train two or three times a day six, sometimes seven days a week, alongside doing some 1-to-1 boxing training at Club 24 in Westbury.
“Sponsorship will help me to pay for annual brain scans and medicals, training equipment, fight kit, fuel to gyms (250 miles a week travelling to various gyms), supplements and food during my strict diet. As a sponsor you will get great exposure of your company all across the UK as well as locally. Any sponsorship would be hugely appreciated.”
For more information about the sponsorship packages that Anthony has on offer please email:
[email protected] or call 07526 763715.

He has a range of sponsorship deals!!?
Someone like him needs to be careful he doesn't fall between 2 stools, not good enough to be a British champs but too dangerous to be an opponent in the away corner.
Being busy is the only way to earn a couple of quid in this game. If you look at the likes of Chris Jenkins and Johnny Garton from Friday night you will have seen 2 quality fighters at top domestic level who have earned peanuts. A busy journeyman would have outearned the pair of them together over their career.
