What are examples of boxers who had fast hands but slow feet or had slow hands and fast feet?

James Toney and Diego Corrales had fast hands .... but they weren't very quick on their feet. Tua could let his hands go, however he was an incredibly slow mover. Of the current fighters, Erroll Spence doesn't really impress me foot speed wise.

What do you guys regard as having “quick feet”, because the lighter iteration of Toney was able to subtly adjust his ring position by mere inches to move quickly in-and-out of punching range?

It takes an enormous amount of confidence, focus, agility, reflexes and skill to constantly remain on the periphery of your opponents’ punching range, whilst also remaining elusive, especially against heavy-handed fighters.

Another fighter, like Toney, who was blessed with excellent footwork was Mike McCallum. He could seemingly ride his opponents’ shots, nullifying them by quickly adjusting his feet and upper body in a subtle manner. He often resisted the temptation to constantly move around the ring.

Constant lateral movement alone doesn’t necessarily equate to having “quick feet” in my mind.

A quick mind, when camouflaged with subtle movements, to the untrained eye, can portray certain fighters as being stationary objects, when they’re in fact deceptively elusive.

Stiverne has pretty good hand-speed, but he hasn't ever been mobile.

Canelo has slow feet compared with his hands

Miller also is a good example. He just walks, but when he traps his opponents he can provide some decent quick combos.

For me, Pacquiao have fast feet but average hand speed. It's just that he's fighting bigger guys that he looks super fast on both hands and feet.

Donaire has fast hands but average foot speed.

On the other hand, Amir Khan have fast hands and feet but thinks very slow.

Duran had very good hand speed. Not Leonard fast but still excellent.

But his footwork didn't match up. A lot of decent boxers were able to go significant rounds against Duran during his 135 lb prime.

He wasn't able to always catch them. He could be a plodder. In the later rounds when fighters such as Bizzaro or Viruet slowed down some, then Duran seized control.

But Khan's chin gives way fast.
