Galento was a real old fashioned tough guy. Jackie Gleason, the famous comedian, once got in a fist fight with him. Unfortunately it lasted only about 1/2 second. Galento vs Joshua, ha ha, silly thread, but OK I'll pick 2 ton tony..."I'll knock the bum out!"

ive read some posts here about galento and a number of ppl say he was actually a good fighter and would do a lot in todays division

He was a hell of a tough guy. He led with his head. They didn't call him 2 ton because he was heavy but because he was so strong. He carried the big beer kegs to his saloon. A friend of mine owned a building in Jersey City, NJ. He said that Tony once worked, or owned, I don't know, the saloon in the empty store downstairs, but I don't know if that's true. That friend of mine - a Russian guy - was crazier than Tony himself I think!

Galento was 5'9" and 234 when he fought Louis. Later on he was ten pounds heavier. My crazy Russian friend was also short. Short people make me nervous. They can bite you in the knee and everything.

Yes he did, and he also hurt Louis in round one. He would have come in crouched down so low against the much taller Joshua. Joshua would have to punch way down. Meanwhile he would have been winging punches at Joshua's midsection...

Joshua is down! It doesn't look like he can beat the count! The fight is over in round one!
