I've never heard of Seldon being kayoed as anything great. None of the seven times.

C'mon man...Seldon was all show and no go. Jose Ribalta knocked him down in the first round.

I forgot who referred to him as Bruce Seldom...as in seldom in the gym. Bert Sugar? Larry Merchant?

Bruce was, by far, the worst of the group of fighters I always think of as the class of 88 (Morrison, Mercer, Bowe, Lewis, Seldon), but hey, he was in that group and at least he and Bowe fought and Bowe did the best anyone could do (and, really what nobody else ever really did).
Seldon saved Tyson the trouble five years later.
