It would be one of the most competitve fights on the highest level since 2000, but I think that we will never see this fight.
I suppose Spence will have two or three fights at WW, before moving up at LMW, I feel that he has some problems with making his weight at WW. What do you predict ?

This is the fight I wanted all along. I sure hope it happens, especially after watching that uncompetitive beatdown last evening!!!

In my opinion this is the most competitive big fight in boxing today.
I'd pay to see it

I think it will eventually happen. I have a feeling it will be another one of those "better late than never" situations. I wish it would happen at the end of this year, but we'll be lucky to see it by 2022.

I don't think it will ever happen. They will avoid one another. Shame on them.

Spence has plenty of options on the PBC roster with or without Crawford. He has Thurman, Porter, Danny Garcia and possibly even Pac as potential opponents.
Crawford is the guy that's gonna have a hard time finding names to keep himself in the conversation with Spence really. Amir Khan isn't the most inspiring name since he's already lost every major fight he's ever been in pretty much.
I think Spence passed up Crawford on the P4P list last night. I now have them 3 and 4 respectively.

I remember saying a few years ago that Crawford would be wise to fight Spence now as he's still kinda Green, and maybe Crawford could still outbox him, and have some technical skills that Spence hasn't picked up yet. That I figured Spence would only get better, and the gap between them would narrow over time. Now I think if anything it might be in Spence's favor. The fighters have evolved to the point now where I don't think I'd favor Crawford anymore in this matchup. I would've been picking him in this match any time it was discussed for the last couple of years, but I don't think I would be now.
At least not if it were next for both of them, and honestly no matter how dominant Crawford is over Khan it won't really mean a lot. If he struggles with Khan it won't be a good look for him at all obviously considering how great Spence just looked.

I'd love to see it, can't see it happening.
Spence seems intent on holding a seance & fighting the ghost of Manny Pacquiao & Crawford's fighting Amir Khan. The only way they'll get together is if one of them loses, IMO.

Crawford and Garcia were competing in the same weight class two years ago. Crawford has all of two fights at welterweight. Most of Garcia's recent fights before Spence were at light welter, where he was weighing in about six pounds lighter than he did last night.

just look at mikeys body at 147 compared to craws, way way softer, also much shorter reach and shorter by 2-3 inchrs height. craws a 147 pounder now, mikey just fought at 135
quite obviously a totallly different size dynamic, craw is naturally a good 2 divisions bigger
mikey wouldnt win 10 seconds vs craw either

It's the most natural fight in the world and it really ought to happen ASAP, so that probably means it will never take place.

If this fight doesn't happen, it's criminal.

Yes Crawford looks like a natural welterweight

I've had these two as the two best in the world for a few years and I still don't see it happening. The truly sad part is they would both sign for it in a second.

Yep, either would jump at the chance. Too bad their management doesn't have that desire

I would love it.
I would pay for it.
But I don't see it happening until, like Floyd/Manny - it's a bit late for one of them.
