What’s the point in BN if they’re not picking up fights like this?!

TBF the Russian card earlier was REALLY good
Selby's fight was (is) being shown on tape delay as we speak in Mexico on Azteca 7. He was cut in the third from a headclash and the Mexican has been crudely coming forward and becoming more confident since.
Can only assume Charlie Edwards is enjoying himself...

Just watched the fight. Martinez against Edwards will be a fun fight.
Edwards last 2 fights should prepare him well for it.
I always think both Selby brothers have underachieved both promotionally and fights/title wise. Lee seemed to have really good momentum after winning the world title but after signing with Haymon he was more inactive, didn’t have any big fights until Warrington and was largely forgotten about in the U.K. Hopefully he was well paid by Haymon.

Shame he was ahead.
Lovin’ the Mexican commentary.
Do u speak Mexican?
Na. That even a language? Don’t they just speak Spanish?
They just sound enthusiastic.
So U didn’t understand what they were saying? Lol
Did you?

ppl had said he might struggle with a rough strong aggressive fighter. i didnt it expect him to get knocked out at this low a leevel, though maybe the mexican will prove more, he is a young guy
selby is good but very little power or authority in his slappy amateur style, also i feel his skill wasnt actually as great as billed, more that he had very good speed and just got away with that a lot of the time. i wouldnt say he was a super neat and tidy boxer though.

Is the Mexican really a low level guy? Wins over Sosa, Tecuapetla (taken out in 4 having heard the final bell with Rosales and Yaegashi) , Victor Ruiz (taken out in a round and had taken Tete 7) suggest he's a danger man to say the least
I don’t think Edwards will be happy with this result at all. A fight against Selby would have event him decent money compared to against this Mexican.
Edwards will lose against a guy most people won’t expect him to. These lower weight divisions are a nightmare to navigate. All Yafai and Jamie McDonnell are probably teo of the better guys we’ve had beneath 122 through history but the pair of them have come unstuck against guys none of us were expecting, only to get it on the scorecards or through pulling out a knockout late.

Bit shocking how quick Selby was blowing, maybe it was heat or humidity, but he seemed to gas by the 4th, looked unsteady on his way back to the corner.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Martinez Aguilar he looks a bit of a destroyer
