Billy Joe Saunders will fight Shefat Isufi for the WBO Interim Super Middleweight Title on May 18th at the Lamex Stadium, home of Stevenage FC.....

Same night as WBSS in Scotland.

Good news for BJS fans as they will be able to park in the stadium car park on fight week.

The WBO champ hasn't vacated, isn't injured, and is active so even by the WBO's ever-flexible standards this is ropey.

The venue looks to be a sweetner from Fwank to BJS. Wonder how many tickets they'll sell though.

Interesting. Its an outdoors stadium event, at a stadium with a capacity of 7k and much of that is standing.

Its an interesting venue for a boxing event.

Could understand it if bjs supported Stevenage bit of a weird venue as he doesn't. I know it's close to Hatfield which I think is where he's from but a very odd location in my opinion.

Very strange venue. Could be interesting though, I’d be tempted to go just to see what it was like, if I had any faith that it will go ahead as scheduled.

The problem the promoter has is all his cancelled shows. I don't live near enough to go but it was happening just down the road i would expect the show to be cancelled.

This is a show I could easily get too but I'm going to see what else is on the undercard...and then again I might not buy a ticket until the Saturday morning!
